To show our solidarity with the many children and young people who live at high social risk or in the streets, and timed with the International Day of the Street Child, the Voice of the Streets online radio station was launched on Wednesday 13th April 2016.

The idea of the station is to give a voice to those children and young people we work with in Guatemala and enable them to speak out via the medium of radio about their own lives and how their lives are affected by the daily violence, mistreatment, abuse, neglect and social rejection.

Voice of the Streets radio was launched with the help of many organisations that work with children and young people in Guatemala City and included presenters who had themselves lived on the streets or who still live in situations of high-risk.

In order to listen to the station all year round just go to the Voz de la Calle radio station or download the Tunein App for your mobile phone and select "Voz de la Calle" and join the radio revolution.
